In a campain I am playing, my character was killed and I need to make a new one.
My previous character was a barbarin named Zote Von Frostwolf, a viking warior who was constantly drinking mead and wine. His wife and 2 children were slain in the middle of the night, and he has been wandering the snowy plains of the northland ever since. He finds some adventurers, and joins them to explore the world and uncover the truth about his past, unfortunally he was slain while fighting a sorceress. I thought his backstory was kinda corny, to be honest.
Im thinking of making a Rogue have not decided on a name or backstory.

Yeah, the warlock is one of the few things that tempt me back to pure d20. I plan to pick up Complete Arcane and steal that, plus the Scout from Complete Adventurer, for Arcana Evolved.

I love the scout except for one flaw. I hate that they don't get fighter BAB. Really, is it that much of a stretch to bump it up a little?
