After today, emoticons are much improved. Also, you can specify a custom title that will show up along with your level and avatar on your posts. Next step is to get all the formatting from the comments applied to the forum posts.

Guff earned some kind of reputation today for epic shitposting. Some were amused, some were angered, such is life at Roll Initiative.

So I'm still working on improving the site after the migration. The forums are roughly stable and usable for the time being, so I'm spending a little time getting some of the gaming stuff transfered over. You can see the first efforts at www.rollinitiative.com/book if you like. Plenty left to do on that front, but I wanted to get a foothold. Also, I noticed we get a good number of 404: Page Not Found errors looking for old links to The Goods (the former gaming section), so I want to get that stuff up in the new system pretty soon and set up some URL redirects.

Today I'm trying to move the site off phpbb and into drupal. Next steps are to move old static content into drupal nodes and convert the stuff from Chimera. At the same time I'll have to overhaul the look again, but this is a nice skin to start from.
