 there's a church in northern brazil where supposedly some saint performs miracles related to people's health. So what you do is if you or someone you love has a physical ailment, you buy a wax version of the part of your body that hurts and leave it for the saint, and pray about it. So there are people selling huge walls of wax body parts, and they're just kind of strewn about everywhere. It is really, really wierd.
