So I'm still working on improving the site after the migration. The forums are roughly stable and usable for the time being, so I'm spending a little time getting some of the gaming stuff transfered over. You can see the first efforts at www.rollinitiative.com/book if you like. Plenty left to do on that front, but I wanted to get a foothold. Also, I noticed we get a good number of 404: Page Not Found errors looking for old links to The Goods (the former gaming section), so I want to get that stuff up in the new system pretty soon and set up some URL redirects.

I continue to welcome your feedback on this process. My intent with this move was not to make everyone sad about a new format, but to open up some new possibilities and hopefully improve everyone's experience here.

User creation is currently open, requiring only email validation, so if you know someone who would like to join up please invite them before the spambots discover the new system!

The new editing box is pretty full featured I think. I know that smilies need some work and I'll be attending to them soon. Also links and images aren't working properly from the buttons, but you can use BBcode for now. As I mentioned elsewhere, these editing boxes will take formatted data being pasted in. If you want to just paste plain text, click the "disable rich-text" link below the editing area.
